SYNOPSIS:
Edentulism is a common issue that plagues our ageing population. Complete dentures are the first line treatment for edentulous arches. But are these the only option these patients are stuck with for the rest of their lives? Implant restorations are now common in our daily practice, but its application to fixed prosthesis in edentulous patients require much more careful treatment planning and thought process. All the various considerations required make this a daunting procedure for most to take on.
The presentation aims to demystify the All-on-X treatment process. We will discuss who and when to indicate this treatment, and what are the parameters to look out for when assessing the suitability for treatment.
