Synopsis:

This course seeks to increase participants’ confidence in performing root canal treatment by equipping them with a full overview of the procedure, from diagnosis and treatment planning to restoration of the endodontically treated tooth.

We aim to incorporate technology and techniques that have made an impact in endodontics into root canal treatment for more predictable results. We will go through a safe protocol and discuss ways to reduce the risk of iatrogenic errors to achieve successful root canal treatment.

Participants will gain a better understanding of the tools and techniques used throughout the process and will have the opportunity to try out the materials and equipment during the hands-on sessions. These include heat-treated rotary files and various obturation techniques, including the use of bioceramic sealers.

Participants can observe how these materials and tools perform in a plastic tooth before progressing to extracted teeth, with ample time to get a feel for how these materials work in their hands—ensuring a smoother experience in their journey in endodontics and the restoration of endodontically treated teeth.
