Course Synopsis

Master the Large Posterior Restoration – Indirect Onlays and Direct Overlays

In this intensive 2-day hands-on masterclass, learn how to tackle all large posterior restorations with Dr Koh and Dr Tan’s truly unique blend of biomimetics and aesthetics.

Learn real-world insights beyond what is readily-available in textbooks and articles. Learn how to critically evaluate a broken-down posterior tooth and make rapid decisions about the treatment required, when to choose direct or indirect, practical and biomimetic preparation design principles and how to clinically apply this simply in an efficient manner for your patients.

The newest concepts and clinical steps surrounding posterior build-up philosophies and onlay preparation and tooth treatments will be discussed, such as the ultra-efficient horizontal layering method for composites, DME and IDS.

Over 2 days, this course will help de-clutter and unpack the complexities and confusion many dentists face when managing what can often feel like a difficult or complicated clinical situation-treating a tooth requiring a large full-coverage restoration. Learn why it is easier to onlay rather than crown!

With the majority of the course dedicated to hands-on, you will not only learn, but practice how to create beautiful large composite overlay and indirect onlay restorations. Each participant will complete both direct anatomical full-cuspal coverage build-ups as well as indirect onlay preparations from design + preparation, to insert of indirect onlays.

Course Fee:

$1,700 – 20-day special launch price (available until 13th of June only!)

$1,800 – Early bird fee (from 14th of June until 31st of July)

The course fee includes complimentary polishing bur kits, complete with full sets of finishing and polishing burs for participants to take home after the course. During the hands-on sessions, participants will also be provided with typodont models, 3D-printed models, and 3D-printed onlays for training and practice.
